Competition:-
Present Rules are applicable for all SYSA’s Official Competition..
1-eligibility
Any partictioner who is practicing yoga in school college or individual basis can be a participant of our official competition.
2-Age Groups:-
In our male & female category there are 8-8 age Groups in our competitions.
1-8-14
2- 14-18
3-18-24
4-24-30
5-30-40
6-40-50
7-50-60
8- Above 60
3-Judges Panel:-
State competition must have a judges consisting of 3to 5 judges and a time keeper is mandatory for every competition.
A-National Judges:-
Certified & Trained by Indian Yoga Federation & Judging in national competitions
National judges can give their services in the SYSA competitions
B)-State Level Judges (A,B,C level)
Certified & Trained by State Yoga & Sports Association and Judging in national competitions.
All A,B,C level judges will give their services in SYSA’s official competitions.
4- Judges should not speak during a performance after completing the participant judges may clear with each other on the basis of postures guidelines.
5- Jury members will not participate in any SYSA competition.
6-Parents & Coaches will not interpret during the competitions.
7- In any SYSA competition jury decision will be final if any exceptional case any participants wants to recheck his/her result they need to submit an application about the matter and will deposit the fee 2000₹.



Jury Training Program:
The State Yoga & Sports Association hosts an annual National-level Judges & State-level Judge Training Program, available both online and offline. The program spans 5 days, with daily sessions lasting 3 hours each.
Aim of the Program:
The aim of the program is to equip referees for national and international competitions organized by the State Yoga & Sports Association, offering guidance on evaluation and scoring principles to adhere to before, during, and after competitions, and ensuring competition participation aligns with refereeing principles and rules.

Judges/Referees will learn to assess asanas in various events of the Yogasana Sports Championship.
Eligibility for the program requires:
The eligibility criteria for the Jury Training Program include graduation in any discipline, prior experience in yoga, familiarity with SYSA yoga competition rules, commitment to the full program duration, availability for both online and offline sessions, and a genuine interest in improving judging skills.
